As a valued member of our interprofessional health care team, your role as a Health Care Aide involves direct client care, monitoring, and reporting on changes in health status. With a commitment to Carewest's core values, you will ensure that clients receive the medications and support they need. This role is essential for maintaining the quality of life for those in our Rehabilitation and Community Transition Program (RCTP).
Key Responsibilities:
• Observe and report client health changes to nursing staff
• Deliver prescribed medications according to policy
• Assist with lifting and repositioning clients as needed
• Maintain qualified and ethical standards in care
• Support other duties as required by the care team
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Graduation from an Alberta recognized Health Care Aide program
• Active registration with CLHA
• Related health care experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
