That balance is how our values show up - in how we work, how we lead, and what we deliverOur Prince George office is looking to hire a Technician role for our Accounting Advisory Services practice, the Technician will excel in servicing a wide variety of clients ranging from smaller entrepreneurial ventures to large companies with multiple locations. We have a strong culture of providing excellent client service and working diligently to help our clients in all aspects of their business needs. Dedicated team players with strong work ethics will be rewarded with stimulating and interesting opportunities with our diversified client portfolioWhat you will doPerform bookkeeping activities for a variety of clients including payroll and GST/PST filingsPrepare working paper files,



including financials and corporate tax returnsRespond to client requests and inquiries on a day-to-day basisSupport the preparation of year-end financials and tax filings by working with various team members to complete tasksCollaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate service deliveryWhat you bring to the rolePrevious experience in bookkeeping, ideally within a public accounting officePost-secondary education in accounting or a related fieldExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong collaboration and interpersonal skillsEffective time-management and self-motivationAbility to manage multiple prioritiesProficient in Excel, Word, and other standard softwareExperience with Caseware, QuickBooks, Sage and Xero is an assetKPMG BC Region Pay Range InformationIn British Columbia, the expected base salary range for this position is $38,500 to $51,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills, and competencies, and unique qualifications.
