Sandvik Mining is looking for a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic for a 2-week fly-in/fly-out role in British Columbia. This position is key to ensuring proper maintenance of mining equipment.

As a crucial member of our team, your role will be to inspect, adjust, and repair both mechanical and electrical components of mining equipment. You will need a Red Seal certification and at least three years' relevant experience to succeed in diagnosing complex equipment issues and performing repairs accurately. You will also be involved in improving operational standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect mining equipment and determine faults
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts accurately




• Test equipment post-repair for reliable performance
• Stay updated on industry practices and innovations
• Maintain detailed records and reports as required

Requirements:
• Red Seal certification required
• Minimum three years experience with mining machinery
• Demonstrated proficiency in reading schematics
• Solid communication and computer skills
• Holding a valid driver’s license essential
