PASTRY COOK will report to the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef. He/She will play a key role in crafting innovative pastry recipes to produce premium quality desserts for our guests. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional work ethic, a passion and enthusiasm for the profession, and thrives in a fast-paced workplace.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITESManage day to day activities of the pastry team, including the ability to read orders and plate dessert during service hours, canape platter preparation and plating.Responsible for creating and preparing desserts in accordance with existing menuInspect the quality of ingredients and accurately measure them for specific recipesDevelop and execute recipes to the highest standardsWill be assisting the Pastry Chef in researching, developing, and costing of recipes; consistently thriving to upgrade food quality and presentationEnsure compliance with food handling safety regulation, health and safety workplace policies and proceduresAttend meetings where required and communicate to all staff RE:
