In this contract role until December 2027, you will report to the Deputy-Treasurer and ensure effective capital asset accounting and reporting. Your experience in financial analytics and budget compliance will guide the implementation and sustainability of capital asset policies and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a PSAB 3150 compliant accounting system
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and legislative regulations
• Implement long-term capital asset management strategies
• Oversee budgeting methodologies for capital expenses
• Provide financial reports and analyses for decision-making

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Business Administration or Commerce
• Accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA, or CA)
• Three years of experience in relevant financial roles
• Advanced proficiency with accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
