Job Overview

We’re seeking someone to join our Cloud Infrastructure team as a Senior Cloud Network Engineering Specialist to design and implement Public Cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code, combined with strong leadership capabilities to influence strategy, drive collaboration, and deliver scalable and secure network solutions. This is a Principal Cloud and Infrastructure Engineering position at Vice-President level, which is part of the job family responsible for managing and optimizing technical infrastructure and ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems to support business needs effectively. What you’ll do in the role

Architect, design and implement Cloud Network Infrastructure at enterprise scale. Develop Terraform modules using Terraform Enterprise, Terraform Cloud and integrate Cloud core services with Morgan Stanley on‑premises systems. Test infrastructure as code using common testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Terraform Test). Lead cloud network automation and deployment through integration with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Design and support Kubernetes based private cloud networks, including the configuration of ingress, egress, and routing topologies. Write technical documentation and perform troubleshooting and debugging to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues. Influence organizational cloud adoption strategy through leadership and collaboration with senior stakeholders. Collaborate with the broader Cloud team to execute the firm’s cloud strategy and partner with cross‑functional technical teams across Morgan Stanley to deliver product‑level solutions and operational support. Lead and drive Cloud Networking strategy, architecture and design decisions. Contribute to engineering reviews, incident response, and root cause analysis.

What you’ll bring to the role

10 + years’ experience working in engineering, architecture, or developer role. 7 + years of experience with Cloud PaaS and/or IaaS (e.g., Google, Azure, AWS) Terraform, Ansible, GIT, Shell Scripting or Python, CloudFormation, Azure RM. Practitioner‑level network automation skills using DevOps and CI/CD pipeline practices. Ability to work across multi‑discipline teams on architecture, features, and problem solving. Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and write detailed technical documentation. Linux and networking skills Experience with Kubernetes/Openshift; Knowledge of Calico & Cilium CNI’s is a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer, GCP Skilled Cloud Network Engineer) is a nice to have

Ce que vous ferez dans ce rôle

Elaborer l’architecture, concevoir et mettre en œuvre l’infrastructure réseau infonuagique à l’échelle de l’entreprise. Développer des modules Terraform à l’aide de Terraform Enterprise et Terraform Cloud, et intégrer les services infonuagiques de base aux systèmes locaux de Morgan Stanley. Tester l’infrastructure en tant que code à l’aide d’outils et de cadres de tests couramment utilisés (p. ex., Terraform Test). Ce que vous apporterez au rôle

Plus de dix ans d’expérience dans un rôle en ingénierie, en architecture ou en développement. Plus de sept ans d’expérience avec des plateformes PaaS ou IaaS infonuagiques (ex., Google, Azure, AWS). Maîtrise de Terraform, Ansible, Git, scripts Shell ou Python, CloudFormation et Azure RM. Compétences pratiques en automatisation des réseaux utilisant les pratiques DevOps et les pipelines CI/CD. Capacité à travailler avec des équipes multidisciplinaires sur l’architecture, les fonctionnalités et la résolution de problèmes.
