The Slaight Family Centre for youth in transition serves people who are at-risk for, or at early stages of severe mental illness. The main goal of the centre is to put more young people with psychosis on a path to recovery through the development of new treatments, enhanced early detection, and clinical research.
We are seeking a full time, contract, (one (1) year) Research Analyst who supports clinical, preclinical, and patient-oriented research activities through data collection, participant engagement, laboratory procedures, analysis, documentation, and knowledge translation. Reporting to the Research Operations Manager and working within interdisciplinary research teams, the Research Analyst contributes to scheduling and conducting screening and study visits, including accompanying participants for laboratory tests, MRI, rTMS visits and so on. You will assist in centralized recruitment and facilitate recruitment for multiple studies,
screening and schedule research participants. You will assist with administering and scoring clinical/functional scales and neuropsychological assessments. Other duties include preparing and maintaining records and databases (i.e., REDCap) and preparing data for presentations. You will prepare and maintain research documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines, as well as supporting Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions and renewals. You will ensure compliance with ethical, legislative, and institutional research requirements. You will also oversee tracking and documentation of study costs, budgets, and progress reports. Other administrative duties are also required. Some evening shifts may be required.
