About Advance Therapy
Advance Therapy is an Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services provider supporting children and families across Ontario. As we grow, we're looking for an experienced ABA or mental health professional to build and manage the therapist team behind our client caseload.
The Role
You'll keep our clients staffed with the right therapists. Working with our internal team, you'll identify caseload needs, recruit and assess qualified ABA therapists, onboard them, and match them to clients based on each family's needs. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role: you decide when and where you work, as long as staffing and scheduling commitments are met.
What You'll Do
- Meet regularly with our internal team to review active caseloads, new client starts and staffing gaps
- Source Instructor Therapists and other ABA candidates through job boards, referrals and professional networks
- Screen and interview candidates, assessing ABA knowledge (reinforcement, prompting, data collection, behaviour plans), professionalism and client fit
- Verify credentials, references and Police Vulnerable Sector Checks
- Recommend qualified candidates to Advance Therapy, which issues service agreements
- Coordinate onboarding, including paperwork, timesheet portal setup and required training
- Match therapists to clients by location, availability, skill set and client goals, and build and maintain session schedules
- Arrange coverage for cancellations, absences and schedule changes
- Keep candidate,
therapist and scheduling records accurate and confidential in our CRM
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in ABA, developmental services or mental health (e.g., Instructor Therapist, RBT, BCBA, clinical coordinator, case manager or healthcare recruiter)
- Enough hands-on ABA understanding to judge a candidate's clinical quality, not just their resume
- Experience in recruitment, staffing or scheduling (strong asset)
- Solid organization, communication and follow-through
- Comfort with Google Workspace, CRMs and job platforms
- Reliable internet and a private, secure workspace for confidential calls and records
- A clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Based in Canada
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) and GTA service areas
- CPBAO registration
- Additional languages
Engagement Details
- Independent contractor engagement: you set your own hours and location and use your own equipment
- You invoice Advance Therapy [bi-weekly/monthly] and manage your own taxes and HST, where applicable
- The scope of the engagement may expand by mutual agreement as the partnership grows
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 – 40.0 per week
Benefits
- Casual dress
- Flexible schedule
- Work from home
