Civil engineering Foundations and soil engineering We are seeking a General Accountant to be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, supporting accurate financial reporting, accounts payable administration, tax documentation, and compliance with Canadian accounting and tax requirements. This position reports to the CFO and works closely with other members of the finance and administration team.

Prepare, issue and maintain tax documentation required under Canadian regulations,



with particular focus on Ontario requirements. Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

Assist external and internal auditors by explaining accounting transactions, balances and supporting evidence. Contribute to process improvements and internal controls. Collaborate effectively with finance and operational teams.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience Knowledge of federal and provincial tax and regulatory requirements Experience supporting external audits and month-end closing processes.

Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure or project-based organizations is considered a robust asset. Systems & Technical Requirements Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt to ERP systems and digital finance tools.

The compensation range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 CAD annually.
