Intermediate Accountant (Full time, Permanent) Edmonton Corporate Office The Running Room Group of Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Intermediate Accountant to join our in-office Accounting and Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who has built a solid foundation in accounting and is ready to take ownership of more complex tasks in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with other accounting team members and cross-functional departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and support business operations.

Whether you’re training for your first 5K or striving for a new personal best, Running Room is here to equip, educate, and inspire you every step of the way. Prepare and analyze general ledger accounts including balance sheets, income statements, and account reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Investigate and resolve discrepancies or variances in financial data. Contribute to financial analysis including variance analysis.

Collaborate with team members and operational departments to resolve accounting-related issues. Demonstrated proficiency in full-cycle accounting, with increasing levels of responsibility over time. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar accounting software is an asset. Willingness to work evenings or weekends as required by deadlines.
