We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Accounting Manager to join our Accounting team in Sudbury. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment and enjoys balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution. You will oversee accounting operations across a complex multi-entity organization, lead a high-performing team, and play a key role in financial reporting, acquisitions, and process improvements.

Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Support annual financial statement preparation and compliance with ASPE. Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and lease accounting activities.

Support acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocation entries and integration activities. Ensure proper accounting treatment and reporting of acquisition-related transactions. Maintain strong internal controls and support year-end audits.

Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team. Foster accountability,



continuous improvement, and professional growth. Partner closely with operations, payroll, legal, and executive leadership teams.

Significant visibility with senior leadership and executives. CPA designation would be considered an asset. ~5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities. ~ Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and ASPE. ~ Advanced Excel and ERP system experience. Exposure to mergers and acquisitions or post-acquisition integrations.

Background in environmental, industrial, or service-based industries. Bilingual in English and French.
