We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to provide senior-level leadership and oversight of accounting and financial operations within a financial services organization. This part-time position will work closely with executive leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and effective financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide executive-level oversight of accounting and financial reporting activities.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Review financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Monitor cash flow, operating expenses, financial performance, and key financial metrics.
- Oversee audit, tax, regulatory, and compliance-related accounting requirements.
- Partner with the CFO and senior leadership on financial planning and strategic initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
- Supervise and provide guidance to accounting and finance personnel.




- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting systems, and financial controls.
- Ensure accounting practices comply with applicable Canadian standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive financial information.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- CPA designation strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- Previous management or senior accounting experience.
- Financial-services experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, IFRS, internal controls, audit, and taxation.
- Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting-system experience.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with senior executives and external auditors.

Pay: $120,300.00-$170,000.00 per year
