Accounting Specialist

At Jade Consulting, we do more than bookkeeping, we are trusted partners to our clients. We're looking for an Accounting Specialist who enjoys problem-solving, values accuracy, and is passionate about helping businesses succeed.

What you'll do

- Complete full-cycle bookkeeping
- Prepare reconciliations and journal entries
- Prepare HST returns and assist with month-end reporting
- Support financial statement preparation
- Work directly with clients and answer accounting questions
- Help identify efficiencies and improve processes

What we're looking for

- 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience along with a degree, diploma or certificate program in accounting or a related field
- Holds or is working toward a CPB designation
- QuickBooks Online experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Passion for learning and continuous improvement
- Team player with excellent attention to detail
