Job Title: Accounting Technician

Location: Montreal / Laval, QC (On-site)

Salary: $60,000/year

About Us

D&R; Services and Only Fresh Food are growing businesses in manpower services and food importing/distribution. We're looking for an experienced Accounting Technician to manage the day-to-day finances across both companies.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for the full accounting cycle for two active businesses — keeping the books accurate, organized, and up to date. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a stable role with room to grow as the companies expand.

Responsibilities

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for both businesses
- Handle bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
- Prepare financial statements and monthly reports
- Process payroll and ensure remittances are filed on time
- Track invoices, expenses, and budgets across both companies
- Prepare documents for tax filings and work with external accountants as needed
- Maintain organized financial records and support audits when required

Qualifications





- Experience as an accounting technician, bookkeeper, or in a similar role
- Comfortable managing the finances of more than one business at a time
- Solid knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
- Good communication skills in English and/or French
- DEC or certificate in Accounting/Finance is an asset
