You will report to the Head of Financial Risk, Sagicor North America and will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies across the organization. You will collaborate with various departments and external stakeholders to ensure that we have effective risk management practices in place.

Support risk reporting to the board and regulators Calculate Capital at Risk, monitor risk limits and risk appetite. Support the delivery of the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA)



Develop responses to regulatory changes and prepare analysis of new OSFI or NAIC guidelines Identify and assess risks in Canadian and the U.S. businesses with a focus on market, credit and insurance risks Lead stress testing across the organization (Canada, U.Develop and maintain comprehensive and reliable risk models Cultivate solid relationships with business units and control functions to promote a risk-aware culture and add value through collaboration 5+ years of relevant work experience within Financial Services and/or Life Insurance industry, including experience in risk management ~ Bachelor’s degree in actuarial sciences, accounting, finance or similar field ~ Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA), Certificate in Risk Management (CRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional), or other relevant risk management designations ~ Ability to work independently on complex projects ~ We offer competitive base salaries plus a bonus, one of the many reasons ivari is a great place to work.
