We are looking for a caring, responsible, and energetic person to join our after-school program. Our program is a small-group setting with approximately 10 students, from Pre-Primary to Elementary school age.
Responsibilities:
- Provide after-school care and supervision for Pre-Primary to Elementary students
- Support students with their daily piano practice
- Assist with and supervise two scheduled art lessons per week
- Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities, games, and creative activities
- Help students transition smoothly between activities
- Create a positive, safe, and welcoming workplace for children
- Communicate with the program team and parents when needed
Requirements:
- Experience working with children is an asset
- Early Childhood Education or education-related experience is an asset
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Reliable, responsible, and comfortable working with children of different ages
Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 2:00–6:00 PM
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a small, supportive after-school program.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
