12-Month Full-Time Contract | Potential for Permanent Employment

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year, based on experience

Bizi Group is looking for a hands-on AI & Business Automation Developer to lead a major automation initiative across our group of companies.

This position will begin as a 12-month full-time contract focused on building, implementing and improving automation across our operations. As our automation environment develops, there may be an opportunity for the role to extend or transition into permanent employment.

We are not looking for someone to simply introduce us to ChatGPT or build basic AI demos. We need someone who can understand how our business operates, identify repetitive processes, connect our existing systems, and build solutions that work in production.

Our goal is straightforward: use AI and automation to eliminate repetitive administrative work, reduce errors, improve decision-making and make our operations significantly more efficient.

What You’ll Work On

Your initial projects will include:

- Automating transportation ticket auditing and invoicing
- Using AI/OCR to extract and validate information from tickets, PODs, invoices and other documents
- Automating accounts payable invoice processing, coding and approval workflows
- Developing AI-assisted dispatch tools and workflows
- Integrating AI and automation directly into our proprietary transportation management system
- Automating truck maintenance and work-order processes
- Connecting Microsoft 365, accounting, dispatch, maintenance and operational systems
- Building management dashboards, alerts and exception reporting
- Developing AI agents that can perform operational tasks across multiple systems
- Continuously identifying processes that can be automated





What We’re Looking For We care more about what you can build than what certifications you have. Strong experience in several of the following is preferred:

- Microsoft Power Automate/Power Platform
- Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Azure AI
- OpenAI APIs/LLM integrations
- Python and/or C#
- SQL and database development
- REST APIs and system integrations
- OCR/document AI
- ERP or accounting system integrations
- Workflow automation
- AI agents and agentic workflows
- Microsoft 365 integrations

Experience in transportation, logistics, accounting, fleet management or maintenance systems would be an asset, but is not required.

The Person We Want

You should be comfortable walking into an operational department, understanding how people currently perform their work, identifying inefficiencies, and then building a better system.

You must be able to take a project from: Problem → Process Mapping → Architecture → Development → Testing → Deployment → Improvement

This is a hands-on position. We are looking for someone who builds, tests and deploys, not someone whose primary role is managing consultants.
