Join our remote compliance team as a Junior AML Analyst and build your career in anti-money laundering and financial crime compliance. You will support KYC/CDD reviews, transaction monitoring, customer screening, investigations, and day-to-day AML compliance activities.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated AML Analyst to join our remote compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their career in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), financial crime prevention, and regulatory compliance.

The AML Analyst will support customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, alert reviews, investigations, and general compliance operations while working closely with senior members of the compliance team.

Key Responsibilities

- Review AML and transaction monitoring alerts and identify unusual customer activity.
- Conduct KYC, KYB, and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews.
- Review identification documents, corporate documents, ownership structures, and customer information.
- Conduct sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening.
- Assist with customer risk assessments and periodic reviews.




- Investigate transactions and document findings clearly and accurately.
- Escalate potentially suspicious activity to senior compliance personnel.
- Maintain complete case files and compliance records.
- Assist with regulatory reporting and internal compliance reviews.
- Follow internal AML policies, procedures, and escalation requirements.
- Participate in AML training and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, Economics, Criminology, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of AML, KYC, CDD, sanctions, or financial crime compliance.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote workplace.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Previous AML, KYC, banking, fintech, payments, or compliance experience is an asset but not required.
- AML/KYC training or relevant certification is an asset.
