Franks Tire & Auto is requiring a self-sufficient third- or forth-year automotive apprentice for a busy shop in Foothills, Ab. We’re in search of an individual to help with the regular maintenance, tire services (mounting and balancing and tire repairs), and performing multi point vehicle inspections on all makes and models.

Job Duties

· Work together with other technicians and take direction from management

· Performing preventative maintenance services (oil changes, coolant flushes, brake flushes etc.)

· Recommending additional services to be performed

· Full tire service and repairs

· Maintain an exceptional level of customer satisfaction, show quality of workmanship and technician efficiency





· Keeping shop area clean and equipment maintained

Other Duties

- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to lift 80 pounds or more
- Familiarity with Calgary and surrounding areas for parts pickups & deliveries.

License/Certification:
- Driver’s License (required)
- Own tools are an asset

Job Type: Full time Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Experience

- automotive technician: 1 year (preferred)
