Worldpac, a leading name in automotive parts distribution, is looking for an Assistant Branch Operations Manager to be responsible for learning all aspects of branch operations and assisting the Branch Operations Manager in providing day-to-day direction to team members within the branch location. In the absence of the Branch Operations Manager, assumes responsibility for day-to-day activities and operations of the branch. Reviews, understands and follows company safety and security procedures, and serves as a role model to ensure compliance by all team members. Supports team members in their training and development and enables immediate application to daily work.
Maintains a customer service-oriented philosophy in all conduct to self and other team members.
Assists Branch Operations
Manager to learn all functions of Branch Management, including operations, staffing, training, reviewing team member performance,
expense management and budgeting. Uses vehicles to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a protected and courteous manner. High school/secondary school diploma or GED equivalent At least 2 years of prior leadership experience in a warehouse-related field Comfortable with using Microsoft Office applications Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Be available to open and close the warehouse, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays (as needed). Comfortable with all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Willingness to continue to evolve and develop personal skills to meet the changing environment.
Bilingual reading/writing/verbal communication skills. Ability to perform basic clerical and physical tasks.
