Faculty/Department Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance Unit Media, Art, and Performance-Visual Arts Employee Group URFA CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Sessional Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary In this course, students will learn painting processes and representational techniques with reference to both historical and contemporary examples.

Position Requirements The successful candidate must possess an MFA in Painting or closely related visual arts field (BFA/equivalent for currently registered University/Graduate Teaching Fellows), or equivalent, with evidence of a contemporary painting practice, and an active record of dissemination in Painting. University teaching experience is preferred.

Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Other Work Hours

ART 240-991 is scheduled on Wednesdays from 17:30-20:15 (on campus).

Winter 2027 classes run from Jan.6-Apr.12 with exams running from Apr. 15-28, 2027.
