Join S&C; to make an impact on tomorrow’s energy challenges! The hourly pay range for this position is $21.50 - $29.40. Individual pay within this range is determined by several compensable factors, including the year of study, type of academic program, and the number of prior co‑op work terms completed.

This position is entitled to a $1 shift premium amount per hour.

Team as an Assistant CNC Operator - Afternoon Shift (Co-op) Set up, adjust and operate CNC machine according to work orders and specifications. ~ Use manual pump trucks, cranes (over head / jib) and lift devices as required to move material and finished product(s). ~ Ensure parts are manufactured in accordance with quality standards,



target plans and verify correct run quantities. ~ Visually inspect parts after each machine cycle and perform inspections as required. ~ Filling out production boards with output for the shift as well as assisting in planning afternoon shift production. ~ Strives for continuous improvement in all aspects of the work environment. ~ Currently pursuing a post‑secondary degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment considered an asset. Previous experience as a CNC Machine Operator considered an asset.

Excellent mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity. Ability to work in a fast‑paced work environment with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles considered an asset.

Occasional pushing of motorized material handling carts with loaded weights up to 1000 lbs. Occasional pulling of motorized material handling carts with loaded weights up to 1000 lbs.
