We provide direct freight service to over 550 locations in the province. As an agent for Atlas Van Lines, our Moving Division offers local and long distance moving services.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Branch Manager with all day-to-day operations
- Lead and supervise employees, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Coordinate dispatch, claims, OS&D;, and other operational activities
- Complete administrative duties and required reports within established deadlines
- Collaborate with the manager to ensure customer satisfaction and support new business development within the household moving division
- Promote and enforce health and safety standards while leading by example
- Ensure protected operation and maintenance of trucks and equipment in coordination with the shop
- Build and maintain community relationships to promote the companys image and corporate sponsorships
Qualifications
- Motivated, customer-focused individual with leadership potential
- Management and sales experience an asset (training provided)
- Valid Class 5 SK drivers license
- Basic computer and strong communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to operational needs (flexible hours and days as required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
