Assistant Program Coordinator [My Place] (Permanent, Full-Time) - #2026078 Housing First(My Place) Hourly Pay: [$23.70 to $25.63] We're a well-established non‑profit provincial organization that provides effective, just, and humane services in response to the causes and consequences of crime, and assists individuals who are at risk or are involved in the criminal justice process.

Society of Saskatchewan provides prevention, intervention, support services, and advocacy for individuals who are at risk or are involved in the criminal justice process. Communities have effective, just, humane practices that support positive social outcomes ___________________________________ The Assistant Program Coordinator (APC) will provide daily support for household operations and case management. Provide support and guidance to program staff.

Support and assist caseworkers in crisis intervention and behavioral support for high‑risk participants Lead case planning and management for participants in the program to ensure the services being provided are risk reductive, individual, integrated, and participant orientated. Support participants using a trauma informed and restorative justice lens. Completing reporting and administrative tasks to program and funder standards.

Provide on‑call and scheduling support as program requires. The successful candidate must be able to meet the physical demands of working in a residential home environment while providing quality support to clients. This position requires the ability to safely lift and carry household items, groceries, and other materials as part of daily responsibilities.

The role involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and driving throughout the workday, with regular movement between tasks and client support activities. Candidates must be comfortable climbing stairs, performing general housekeeping duties, making beds,



accessing storage areas, and completing seasonal outdoor tasks such as yard maintenance and snow removal. Successful candidates will possess the physical stamina, mobility, and flexibility to perform the essential duties of the position safely and effectively while supporting the needs of clients.

Knowledge, Skills and Assets: Understanding and commitment to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action. Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills. Exceptional writing and case management skills.

Resourceful, flexible, and well organized. Secondary education from Saskatchewan Polytechnic or Community Colleges or University Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or minimum 1 year of practical experience working with individuals impacted by socio‑economic issues including homelessness, trauma, addiction, mental health, poverty, and the child welfare Working knowledge and experience with individuals impacted by socio‑economic issues, including: homelessness, trauma, addiction, mental health, poverty, and the child welfare system. Working with a range of diverse clients, indiscriminate of: age, gender, sexual orientation, abilities, socio‑economic status, religious preference, etc.

First

Aid & CPR, ASIST, Non‑violent Crisis Intervention, Food Secure would be considered an asset.

Cleared Criminal

Record and Vulnerable Sector Check, completed three (3) months prior to start date. Computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Requires flexibility and should be able to work varying shifts JHSS requires a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check for all eligible employees, though the presence of a criminal record will not alone preclude employment and will be investigated to determine the circumstances and the relevance of the convictions for the position being considered in accordance with any applicable legislation. #
