Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, you will be part of the Engineering Department.

Manage the Surface and Underground Engineering team, directing workflow and planning for the diverse workforce needs while ensuring proper levels of efficiency and productivity. Oversee and coordinate mine planning activities, track major construction projects,



and month-end activities. Participate in budget preparation and cost control activities.

Monitor, report, and improve KPI performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Support optimization projects aimed at improving productivity, reducing costs, and enhancing safety. Lead or support recruitment and training initiatives.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated planning and execution. Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations for management and stakeholders. Serve as an Acting Engineering Superintendent when required.

Bachelor's Degree in Mine Engineering or other relevant discipline; ~12 years of combined experience in underground, open pit, and project management experience in mine engineering; ~ Proven experience managing technical teams and mentoring staff. Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English. Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee.
