LEGACY DENTAL
Prince Albert
Associate Dentist – Legacy Dental
Prince Albert, SK | 4-Day Workweek |
Great dentistry. Real support. And yes, every Friday off.
You didn't survive dental school to become a production unit. You want a practice where you can do your best work, feel genuinely supported, and still have a life outside of dentistry. That's exactly what we've built, and we're looking for an associate who wants to grow with us for the long haul.
The Role, Without the Fluff
- Full-scope general dentistry: exams, treatment planning, restorative, extractions, endo
- Airway assessments and myofunctional screening woven into daily care (we'll train you if it's new)
- Digital diagnostics and same-day restorations using CBCT, iTero, and CEREC — all in-house, all working smoothly
- Collaborate with a tight-knit clinical team that communicates proactively, not through sticky notes
- Patient conversations that are educational, not rushed
- Join team meetings and CE because if you're not growing, neither are we
What Makes Legacy Different
We're not a corporate machine. We're a locally owned, fully digital, airway-aware practice where evidence-based care isn't a marketing slogan, it's how we practice. Technology is here to support quality, not to speed up assembly-line dentistry. And our team? We work hard, laugh often, and genuinely enjoy each other's company. (Still skeptical? Visit @LegacyDentalPA and see for yourself.)
Compensation You Don't Need a Decoder Ring For
- Production-based pay: 40–45% of billable earnings (exact structure in the associate agreement)
- 4-day workweek, Monday–Thursday, 8 AM–5 PM — 3-day weekends are the norm, not a negotiation
- Performance bonuses, annual CE budget, and benefits after probation
- Full transparency before you sign anything — because surprises are for birthday parties, not contracts
Who We're Looking For
- Licensed or eligible with the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CDSS)
- DMD/DDS from an accredited institution (or NDEB equivalency)
- 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new grads with strong fundamentals and a hunger to learn are absolutely welcome
- Comfortable with core general dentistry — implants or surgery skills are a bonus, not a requirement
- You listen well, adapt easily, and don't need to be the smartest person in the room
- You actually like your patients. Wild concept, we know.
How to Apply — Mandatory Submission
Email us two simple items to [email protected]:
- Your updated resume
- A short introduction video (1–2 minutes) — casual, unscripted. Tell us what you're looking for in a practice and why this role caught your eye. We want to meet the human behind the CV, not a rehearsed monologue.
Subject line: Associate Dentist Application – [Your Name]
Note: The video is used solely to assess communication style and interpersonal presence — qualities that matter deeply in patient care. All applications are reviewed based on qualifications; we do not screen on any prohibited grounds under the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code. If you require an accommodation, just let us know — we'll figure it out together.
Why Prince Albert?
Lower cost of living. Minimal traffic. Strong patient demand without the saturation. Many dentists are surprised how quickly they build a full, rewarding schedule here — and how much life they can actually live outside the operatory. Some come for a few years, many end up staying.
