Counsel, you will provide expert counsel in the areas of commercial law, licensing and intellectual property, including the review, negotiation, and management of various types of agreements and transactions (including customer/vendor, distribution, manufacturing, supply chain and licensing agreements) as well as assisting and advising on legal issues that arise for the assigned business units on a day to day and project-specific basis. Draft, review, negotiate and advise on various commercial agreements, such as technology, marketing, sales, procurement and other commercial agreements. Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company; recommend and implement policies and procedures for compliance.

Called to a law society in Canada ~2 to 4 years experience in a law firm or in-house ~ Drafting, review and negotiation of a broad range of technology and commercial agreements (with a focus on agreements in distribution, licensing, marketing, procurement and similar areas). ~ Knowledge of and experience with privacy and data security laws would be considered a strong asset, as well as extensive knowledge and experience with technology, commercial law, and intellectual property rights related to a children’s entertainment company. #Versatile Work Hours com or by phone at (phone hidden) and we will work with you to meet your accessibility needs.
