Il veille au confort, à la sécurité et à la dignité des usagers tout au long de leur parcours périopératoire.Accueil et accompagnement des usagersAccueillir les usagers de façon courtoise et respectueuse.Effectuer le transport sécuritaire des usagers entre les différentes unités de soins,



la salle d'opération et la salle de réveil.Assurer le confort et la sécurité des usagers lors des déplacements.Soutien aux activités cliniquesParticiper à l'installation sécuritaire des usagers sur la table d'opération en collaboration avec l'équipe clinique.Assister le personnel infirmier et médical lors de certaines manœuvres de déplacement et de positionnement.Préparation des salles opératoiresEffectuer l'entretien et le nettoyage des salles d'opération entre les cas selon les protocoles établis.Effectuer le réapprovisionnement des réserves du bloc opératoire.Participer à la gestion de l'inventaire des fournitures consommables.Collaborer avec les services de stérilisation, de logistique et d'entretien ménager.Appliquer les normes d'asepsie et les procédures de sécurité en vigueur au bloc opératoire.Utiliser les techniques sécuritaires de déplacement des usagers.Diplôme d'études secondaires;Avoir complété avec succès une formation d'assistance aux bénéficiares en établissement de santé;Bilingue (français et anglais);Reporting to the Manager of the Operating Room, the Beneficiary attendant contributes to the efficient functioning of surgical services by ensuring the safe transport of patients,



preparing operating rooms, providing logistical support to clinical teams, and adhering to infection prevention and control measures. Safely transport patients between inpatient units, the operating room, and the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).Maintain the confidentiality of personal and medical information at all times.Support nursing and medical staff during patient handling and positioning procedures.Stock rooms with the necessary supplies, equipment, and materials.Verify the proper functioning of non-biomedical equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.Replenish operating room inventory and supplies.Participate in the monitoring and management of consumable inventory.Collaborate with Sterile Processing, Logistics, and Environmental Services teams.Infection Prevention and ControlStrictly adhere to Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) standards and protocols.Follow aseptic techniques and operating room safety procedures.Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Occupational Health and SafetyComply with organizational health and safety policies and procedures.Apply protected patient handling and transfer techniques.Required Qualifications :High school Diploma;Professionnal Degree in Patient Care Assistant;Bllingual (English and French);Working at Shriners Hospital for Children - Canada means working in a family-oriented environment, offering opportunities for learning, professional development and the chance to make a difference.
