Our condominium practice is looking for a driven, detail-obsessed Senior Staff Accountant to join our audit practice being September 2026. Our condominium audit practice is one of the largest of its kind in Ontario and it is a cornerstone of who we are. Starting in 1987, our team has become the go-to authority for condominium corporations, property managers and condominium boards across the province. We don’t just understand the Condominium Act and the Condominium Authority of Ontario’s requirements – we help shape how those standards are understood and applied in practice.
As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will: Lead year-end audit engagements for condominium corporations, from planning through to completion Draft audit reports, management letters,
and respond to client (both management and Board level) inquiries providing clarity and guidance. Assist with personal and corporate tax engagement (on an as needed basis) Collaborate with clients and partners to consistently deliver timely audits and meet our standard of excellence Minimum of 5+ years of Canadian public accounting experience in auditing is required Experience in non-profit and real estate and/or Ontario condominium management industries would be considered an asset CPA designation, active candidacy, or equivalent and demonstrated experience – we value performance and experience over designation Working or in-depth knowledge of Canadian GAAP (ASPE) and Canadian Auditing Standards Proficiency in CaseWare, CaseView, TaxPrep, and MS Office (Word & Excel) Ability to organize and manage audit engagements and review client assignments This role reports to a Partner and is based in our Richmond Hill office, conveniently located near the 404 and 16 th Avenue. This is a hybrid role with in-office expectations of 3+ days per week and will be expected to be in-office while training.
