Johnston Meier Insurance has an exciting position available for an Auto & Personal Lines Advisor, at our College Heights office in Prince George, to assist with our existing book of business. This role requires the candidate to coordinate changes to existing client policies and help new clients obtain coverage across a wide range of insurance products. If you have a General Insurance Level 2 License (or a General Level 1 License and are willing to learn) and at least one year of insurance office experience, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

- Customer Service
- Process ICBC Autoplan quotations, renewals, and policies.
- Provide new quotes on all Personal Lines types of business
- Provide renewal terms and optional coverage
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
- Offer additional products to provide Complete Customer Portfolios
- Keep detailed notes on our Computer System at all times (Paperless Environment)
- Update evaluators when necessary
- Keep abeyances updated and current
- Accounts Receivable

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

- Level 2 Insurance License (or Level 1 General Insurance License and willing to be trained and achieve a Level 2 General Insurance License)
- ICBC Autoplan experience.
- Be willing to be trained and with the intention for a level 2 license.
- Strong communication skills to apply to underwriters,



customers, and team members
- Solid organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service
- Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
- Company Portal knowledge is an asset
- Computer skills including working knowledge with Word & Excel
- Competitive salaries are evaluated based on the employee's education, skill set, license level, experience and hours worked. Scale above is based on full-time hours and is subject to change.
