Murray GM Brandon | Autobody Technician | Opened on 09/14/2026 | Pay rate: $22.5-33 per hour As an Autobody Technician , you'll play a critical role in restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. You'll use your technical expertise and attention to detail to repair and replace damaged body components, complete structural repairs, and ensure every vehicle is restored safely, accurately, and to manufacturer standards. At the Murray Auto Centre in Brandon , our Autobody Technicians are trusted experts who help people get where they want to go.

Through quality workmanship, accurate communication, and a commitment to doing things the Right Way, you'll help deliver an exceptional customer experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism. Assess vehicle damage and determine the appropriate repair or replacement procedures. Complete body repairs, panel replacement, and structural repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Perform frame and structural repairs using appropriate equipment and manufacturer repair procedures. Follow manufacturer repair procedures, dealership policies, and industry best practices. Perform quality checks throughout the repair process to ensure the vehicle is properly restored before completion.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Journeyman Autobody

Technician certification is preferred; Minimum two years of experience in automotive collision repair;

Experience with frame and structural repair equipment is considered an asset.



Ability to read and follow manufacturer repair procedures and technical information. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and repair quality. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing. Basic computer skills with the ability to use dealership software and digital repair systems.

I-CAR training or certification is considered an asset. Knowledge of dealership brand vehicles or local customer preferences is an asset.
