Manage the development of regulatory reporting requirements for site operations including quarterly and annual reporting requirements under the commercial lease and water license Liaise with Government and official bodies on project development, on-going construction and closure Attend regulatory and community meetings,



as Ensure that the Interim Closure Plan is up to date and meets regulatory requirements Support the refinement of the Environmental Management System for site operations Provide the training and education materials for Baffinland employees to ensure proper communication of regulatory requirements in day to day construction and operational activities.

Foster positive business relationships and build appropriate contact between NGOs, communities and company Develop and present community consultation materials including presentations, posters, brochures, Participate in website content and branding initiatives for Sustainable Support Baffinland participation in technical conferences and industry Undergraduate degree in environmental science, engineering or related field (a graduate degree in sustainability, environmental science or engineering would be an asset). ~5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in the environmental engineering, sustainable development or environmental field. ~ Previous experience in regulatory reporting, permit development and closure security ~ Ability to communicate and interact with government officials (both verbally and in writing) . ~ Experienced in mining operations . ~ Results oriented with solid project management and analytical ~ Flexibility to travel to remote northern locations, as ~ Mary River Mine Site, NU, Canada #
