Responsibilities

Assist bakers with food preparation tasks including measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and assembling baked goods.

Support cake decorating efforts by applying icing, fondant, and decorative elements under supervision.

Help with food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Prepare baked items for packaging, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.

Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing utensils, equipment, and work surfaces.





Support the team in stocking ingredients and supplies to keep the bakery well-organized.

Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about baked products and assisting with product packaging when needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!

Basic food handling knowledge and understanding of food safety practices.

Experience with baking or cake decorating is a plus but can be learned on the job.

Strong attention to detail when preparing baked goods and decorating cakes.

Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork.

Willingness to follow all health regulations and safety procedures diligently.

Pay: $17.60-$28.72 per hour
