Job Summary

Italian Bakery Edmonton (1989) Ltd. is seeking a reliable, physically fit, and hardworking Industrial Bakery Oven Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring industrial bakery ovens and related production equipment to ensure products are baked according to established recipes, quality standards, and production schedules.

The ideal candidate must have the physical strength and stamina to perform demanding bakery duties, work in a hot production workplace, and safely operate industrial bakery machinery.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate, monitor, and control industrial bakery ovens and related equipment.
- Load and unload baking trays, racks, and bakery products into and out of ovens.
- Monitor baking temperatures, baking times, and product quality to ensure consistent results.
- Follow production schedules, recipes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any malfunctions or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of ovens, equipment, and the surrounding work area.
- Follow all workplace health and safety,



food safety, and personal hygiene requirements.
- Handle, lift, push, and move baking trays, racks, and materials as required.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily production targets.
- Identify and report any product quality issues or deviations from established standards.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and handle bakery materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. (22.7 kg), where required.
- Ability to push and pull bakery racks and carts.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to work safely while standing for extended periods in a warm production environment.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
