Hours
Shifts will vary depending on business demands. Weekend availability is mandatory during the holiday season. (November, December, January) Hours will be a mix of day time and evening hours, working late into the night on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using Square POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Assist with catering setup, service, and breakdown at events, ensuring all guest needs are met promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and smooth event operations.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred; experience in bartending or serving is highly valued.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering.
- Robust customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a quick-paced environment through effective time management.
- Must have a valid Serving it Right certificate.
- Ability to lift and set up tables, chairs and other large equipment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move quickly on your feet.
