Behaviour Interventionist (Center / Home base)

What you'll do

A consultant in our agency is looking for behaviour interventionists to conduct interventions for our client in Vancouver, East, BC. You will be teaching the child communications, play and social skills based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a creative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our clients are located in different lower mainland cities, with an immediate requirement for new BIs.

A little bit about you:

We are looking for somebody who would like to work in this field or a related field on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, fun, patient, and very enthusiastic about working with children. Some experience working with children with autism is highly preferred.

- You enjoy working with problem behavioral kids, motivated by their progress from your patient and effort
- You're fluent in English, able to communicate in Chinese is an asset
- You can work legally in Canada
- You're a team player
- You're willing to commit to a minimum 18-month term.
- You accept periodic wage adjustments based on your performance
