The University of Toronto Mississauga invites applications for a full time tenure stream Assistant Professor in Bengali History and Culture, starting July 1, 2027. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate History and South Asian Studies courses on the Mississauga campus and hold a graduate appointment at St.

George. Candidates must have a PhD in South Asia studies or related field, demonstrate linguistic mastery in Bengali, and show a record of publication and teaching excellence.
