This full-time role requires 3 to 5 years in customs, familiarity with import/export regulations, and strong analytical skills. You will be instrumental in resolving documentation discrepancies, assisting with compliance reviews, and exploring process improvements. Key Responsibilities:
- Assign classification codes for imports and exports
- Review vendors’ FTA certificates for accuracy
- Resolve documentation discrepancies for customs clearance
- Collaborate with Customs Brokers on inquiries
- Provide customs consulting and compliance improvement insights
Requirements:
- College diploma or degree in a related field
- Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Robust knowledge of customs requirements and processes
- Experience in duty recovery and customs audits
