The Scheduling

Clerk is the subject matter expert and is responsible for the day to day coordination of human resource staffing which includes assigning and maintaining staff schedules, staffing relief shifts, on call shifts, and necessary data entry and record keeping. Working closely with leadership, the Scheduling Clerk ensures compliance with collective agreement scheduling rules with the aim to create cost effective schedules that reduce the need for overtime and agency resources. and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud. Preference given to applicants trained on ESP scheduling software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams. Working knowledge in the usage of office equipment. Demonstrated ability to work both independently with minimum supervision and as a team member.

Proficiency of both official languages is essential for target and designated bilingual positions. May work occasionally evenings and weekends as necessary.
