McGovern Hurley’s next Billing & Client Support Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the administration, billing, and reporting needs of our Audit Advisory Group (AAG) with accuracy, efficiency, and consistency. With 1-3 years of bookkeeping, clerical accounting, or financial reporting experience, you’re highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong deadline-management skills and the ability to stay organized amid competing priorities. Provide hands‑on administrative and clerical support to the Administration team, helping to manage priorities, coordinate deliverables, and ensure efficient day‑to‑day operations. Support electronic tax filings and financial statement finalization, ensuring documentation is completed accurately and delivered on schedule. Coordinate client deliverables and documentation, including electronic filings, document management, and archiving,
supporting organized and compliant recordkeeping.
Assist with audit engagements through accurate financial reporting and data tracking, identifying outstanding items and gathering information needed to complete tasks on time. Partner with team members and leadership to identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and administrative efficiency. Contribute to special projects and process improvements that support the firm’s operational excellence and continued growth. 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, clerical accounting, or financial reporting within a skilled environment; professional services experience is an asset. ~ Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) with experience in TaxPrep and iFirm being considered a bonus. ~ Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and consistently deliver accurate, high‑quality work on time. ~ Availability to work on‑site five (5) days per week at McGovern Hurley’s North York office, with overtime during peak periods (February to June) and month‑end. ~ Demonstrated alignment with McGovern Hurley’s values of collaboration, respect, accountability, integrity, and quality.
