The chance
As a Boeing 757 First Officer, you’ll operate across Morningstar’s Canadian network from a secure Toronto base, supported by a culture that integrates safety into every decision. What you'll do
- Serve as First Officer on the Boeing 757 for scheduled cargo operations supporting FedEx Canada.
- Operate from Toronto Pearson (YYZ) with flying across the company’s Canadian bases.
- Average 12–14 duty-period days per month within a rigorously safety-focused operation.
- Uphold Morningstar Air Express standard operating procedures and a safety-first culture at all times.
What you bring
- Total time: Minimum 1,500 hours.
- Licences: Valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with a valid IFR (instrument) rating. A valid ATPL is accepted in lieu of IATRA.
- IATRA: IATRA written exams completed and passed within the past two years (unless holding an ATPL).
- Medical: Valid Category 1 medical.
- Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC.
- Travel/ID: Valid passport and driver's licence.
- Work eligibility:
Legally entitled to work in Canada immediately and currently hold a Canadian instrument rating.
- Mobility: Willing to relocate for the position.
Compensation & benefits
- Base salary: Starting at $98,276 with two pay-level increases each year.
- Per diem: $4.75/hour for each hour away from home base while on duty.
- Pension: Company-matched RRSP defined-contribution plan of 4%–6% (based on years of service).
- Time off: 3–6 weeks of vacation per year (based on years of service) plus most weekends and holidays off.
- Schedule: Average 12–14 duty-period days per month.
