Duties

- Perform a variety of braiding and loc styling services tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering professional advice
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace in compliance with health and safety standards
- Upsell additional hair care products and styling services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling transactions
- Communicate clearly with clients about styling options,



aftercare instructions, and product recommendations
- Assist with retail sales by educating clients on hair care products suited for their styles

Requirements

- Proven experience in hair styling, particularly braiding and loc techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Knowledge of sanitation practices related to hair care environments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients
- Ability to upsell products and services in a friendly, professional manner
- Prior experience working at the front desk or handling retail sales is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a positive salon atmosphere
