We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual, a self-starter, to take on the role of Branch Manager. The candidate should be knowledgeable in related electrical products and must be organized, self driven with a professional customer service-oriented and attitude.

Position Purpose The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the branch. The role leads the local team, develops and executes the branch business plan, grows profitable sales, manages costs and working capital, and ensures customers receive a consistently high level of service. The Branch Manager is trusted to make sound local decisions while working within company policies and supporting the wider CES network.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Team Development

- Set clear expectations and lead by example in customer service, sales, safety and operational discipline.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and develop branch employees.
- Build a team culture based on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Delegate effectively, give employees ownership of their roles and provide guidance that builds confidence and capability.

Sales and Customer Growth

- Develop and deliver a practical branch business plan focused on profitable growth.




- Build strong relationships with existing customers and actively develop new business.
- Lead branch sales activity and ensure opportunities, quotations and follow-ups are managed effectively.
- Work with other CES branches to deliver a consistent customer experience across the network.

Financial and Commercial Management

- Manage branch sales, gross margin, expenses and profitability.
- Monitor accounts receivable and work with customers and the credit team to resolve outstanding balances.
- Make informed purchasing and inventory decisions that support customer demand without creating unnecessary stock exposure.
- Maintain productive relationships with key vendors and manufacturer representatives.

Branch Operations and Community

- Ensure the branch operates safely, efficiently and in line with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards across the sales counter, showroom, warehouse and delivery functions.
- Represent CES positively in the local market and support appropriate community initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications

- Electrical wholesale experience is preferred.
- Previous leadership or management experience is preferred.
- Strong commercial judgement and a practical understanding of branch sales and operations.
- Valid driver’s licence is required.

Physical Requirements This is an active branch-based role that may involve standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and climbing. The employee must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
