Duties

- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements or menu inquiries to foster a friendly dining atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient service
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, adhering to proper food safety procedures




- Manage time effectively during busy breakfast hours to serve guests efficiently without compromising quality
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Qualifications

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach to hospitality
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cashiering and order processing
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic food safety practices
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced workplace during busy breakfast hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and transaction accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Must be available to start at 5:45am - 1:45pm any day of week.
