YOLO Cannabis is looking for friendly, reliable and customer-focused Budtenders / Cannabis Retail Associates to join our team in St. Marys. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with people, are interested in cannabis products, and understand the importance of responsible and compliant cannabis sales.

Responsibilities

- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service
- Assist customers with cannabis product selection and general product information
- Verify identification and ensure customers meet Ontario's legal age requirements
- Process POS transactions accurately
- Receive, organize and maintain inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized and professional retail environment
- Follow all store procedures and applicable AGCO requirements
- Perform scheduled opening and closing shifts, including opening/closing procedures, cash reconciliation and securing the store
- Support opening and closing duties
- Maintain responsible sales practices and protect customer privacy

Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- CannSell Standard certification required before beginning work
- Must meet applicable background-check requirements




- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, skilled and punctual
- Must be available for a combination of opening and closing shifts
- Must be available for flexible retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Comfortable working independently, including during opening or closing shifts
- Basic POS, cash-handling and computer skills
- Previous cannabis or retail experience is an asset

Previous cannabis or retail experience is an asset, but we welcome applicants with strong customer-service experience who are interested in developing their cannabis product knowledge. CannSell note: CannSell Standard is the foundational AGCO-approved training. CannSell Expert is additional advanced training and is not required to begin working in Ontario cannabis retail.
