We’re looking for a Business Analyst with strong payments experience to join Form3’s Product team and play an important role in building out our new Canadian Real‑Time Rail (RTR) payment gateway. Working closely with the Product Manager, you’ll be involved from an early stage in the build, helping to understand payment scheme and business requirements and turn them into clear, actionable requirements that support the development and delivery of the product. Understand and analyse payment scheme, product and business requirements, translating these into clear and actionable requirements.
Create high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria and functional and non-functional specifications. Use data and analysis to provide insights and support informed product decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Engineering and the wider business throughout the product development lifecycle.
Take ownership of key Business Analyst activities and deliverables, helping the team move from requirements through to successful product delivery. What’s much more important is a strong understanding of the Canadian payments landscape and infrastructure, with experience of payment rails such as Interac e-Transfer.
Experience working as a Business Analyst within payments, banking or FinTech. Strong knowledge of the Canadian payments ecosystem and infrastructure, ideally including experience with Interac e-Transfer or other Canadian payment rails.
Experience translating complex business, product or payment scheme requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications. Strong technical understanding of APIs, cloud technologies and modern system architectures,
with the ability to translate business requirements into clear technical requirements and collaborate effectively with Engineering teams. A good understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience supporting products from requirements through to delivery.
Strong analytical skills, including experience using data to support decision-making.
