We’re building a relationship-oriented bank for the up-to-date world. CIBC’s Wood Gundy teamis the full-service brokerage division of CIBC serving our high-net-worth clientele.As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for providing support to the Investment Advisor team in our Wood Gundy brokerage. You’ll play a key part in supporting and servicing high net worth client accounts.
Develop and nurture the business opportunity leads and the sales pipeline through cold-calls, follow-up calls, and emails To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site part time Monday-Friday. The expected hourly rate of pay range for this role is $25.06 to $27.62. The hourly rate is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs.

Administrative
Support - Maintain compliance standards in client dealings/client files.Conduct administrative activities and engage in administrative processes associated with supporting the IA(s) and teams. Engage in all marketing and business development activities and assist in the development of investment plans and written proposals for prospects and clients.As determined by the IA, assist in processes to direct assets into suitable financial products based on the client’s risk reward tolerances and demographic profile.

Financial
