Mississauga

Build the operating model behind one of Canada’s leading industrial distributors.

Canadian Bearings is in the midst of a major transformation — one anchored in a clear vision, a renewed business model, and a defined set of operational imperatives. To shape the organization that will deliver on that vision, we’ve adopted capability-based modelling to configure our enterprise architecture, and we use a dedicated enterprise-architecture platform to design our capability model and the business processes that operationalize it.

We’ve defined what we need to be able to do. Now we need someone to make it real. We’re looking for a senior Business Process Architect to design and roll out the new processes that bring our capability model to life — and to govern and continuously improve them over time.

This is a senior, strategic role. It is not a documentation role and it does not sit inside IT. It sits at the intersection of operations, technology, and strategy, translating where the business wants to go into how it actually runs.

What you’ll do

- Translate our capability model into the end-to-end processes that operationalize it — designing, rolling out, and embedding new ways of working across the business
- Own our enterprise process model and repository — the single source of truth for how the business operates
- Design to-be processes across the quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, plan-to-stock, and service value streams
- Use our enterprise-architecture platform to link capabilities, processes, applications, and data into a coherent architecture
- Drive measurable improvement against the metrics that matter: fill rate, perfect order, cycle time, cost-to-serve, and working-capital efficiency
- Facilitate cross-functional design and improvement work with branch, warehouse, purchasing, sales, and finance leaders — driving decisions, not just discussions

- Translate process intent into clear requirements for our ERP, CPQ, WMS, and integration partners — without crossing into delivery
- Establish process governance and coach the process owners and champions who sustain it

What you bring

- Capability-to-process translation. You understand capability-based planning and can translate a capability model into the operational processes that deliver it. This is the core of the role.
- Methodological rigor. You’re fluent in Business Process Management and Lean Six Sigma, and comfortable modelling in BPMN at multiple levels of decomposition. Familiarity with enterprise-architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate) is a solid advantage.
- Commercial and operational acumen. You understand the economics of an inventory- and service-intensive business — inventory turns, fill rate, cost-to-serve, margin structure, and the difference between transactional and contract business — whether earned in distribution, wholesale, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Technical literacy. You can navigate a modern ERP, understand its data model and configuration levers, and partner credibly with functional consultants. You read data fluently and can instrument a process so its performance is actually measurable.
- The human skills that make it stick. You facilitate decisions, not just discussions. You communicate clearly with both the executive team and the warehouse floor. You think in systems, you lead change with patience,

and you have the intellectual humility to revise a design when the evidence demands it.
- A track record designing and embedding end-to-end business processes in a complex, multi-function operating environment — typically built over 8+ years across operations, process, and architecture roles.

Nice to have

- Hands-on experience with an EA / capability-modelling platform (Blue Dolphin, LeanIX, Signavio, ARIS, or comparable) — we’ll help you get productive on ours
- Experience with a modern cloud ERP (NetSuite an asset)
- CBPP (ABPMP), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or TOGAF certification
- Process mining (Celonis, Signavio) or automation platforms (UiPath, Power Automate)
- Supply-chain credentials such as APICS CSCP or SCOR
- Prior experience in B2B distribution, wholesale, or a multi-branch operations environment

Why Canadian Bearings

You’ll join a company in the middle of a genuine transformation — one that takes vision, capability, and process seriously, and has the executive commitment to back it. Our culture is built on caring, daring, collaborating, innovating, and performing. You’ll find people who look out for one another, who are willing to challenge the status quo, who solve problems together, and who are energized by building something new. The work is real: the decisions you shape will move inventory, cash, and service levels across the business, and the processes you design will define how a transformed organization operates. You’ll have the mandate to build something that compounds over time — not a slide deck that sits on a shelf.

We offer a competitive compensation package with a defined salary band, benefits, and support to grow your craft — including professional certification. Compensation details will be shared early in the process.
