Part of the vacation experience at Summer House Park is a visit to our very popular Camp Store which includes unique giftware and a tasty selection of ice cream treats and specialty drinks. We’re looking for a friendly, team-spirited individual to join our food services team. Together,

we’re dedicated to creating exceptional vacation memories in a fun, family-focused, and caring environment—for both our guests and our team members.

What You’ll Do:

- Operate point of sale system and cash sales in a busy retail setting
- Prepare and serve coffee, specialty drinks, ice cream and bakery items to patrons
- Work with a team to create and promote seasonal menu items such as specialty drinks and treats
- Perform store opening and closing duties to ensure fluid operations and security of store space
- Regularly sanitize food equipment and surfaces, ensuring proper food hygiene procedures are followed
- Ensure food preparation equipment is maintained, regularly serviced and in good repair
- Perform store inventory and regularly restock store items
- Ensure both inside and outside of store, washrooms and guest house public spaces are always clean and

well-maintained

What You’ll Bring:

- Qualities to inspire and effectively work with a small team
- Excellent customer service skills and effective verbal communication skills




- Ability to prepare guest receipts and take payments, including familiarity with handling cash and point of

sale machines
- Ability to remain calm in a quick-paced environment
- Willingness to take instruction and receive feedback
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Knowledge of food preparation and basic commercial kitchen hygiene
- Safe Hands Food Handling Certifications not required but recommended
- Prior barista skills an asset

Duration/Hours/Wages: Seasonal – June to Labour Day weekend, with opportunity for employment until October. 35 hr/wk. Start date flexible, however successful applicants must be available during the summer months through Labour Day weekend. Starting wage: $16.75-$18.00 based on experience and responsibilities.
