Position: Respite & Awake Overnight Caregiver

Alberta Home Care and Disabilities Services Inc. is urgently hiring a compassionate, reliable, and experienced caregiver to support a client in Grande Prairie.

We are looking for someone who:

- Speaks Cantonese
- Has experience providing caregiving or support services
- Has experience assisting clients with exercise and physical activities
- Is patient, compassionate, and dependable
- Can provide safe and respectful person-centred support
- Is comfortable providing respite and awake overnight support
- Has strong communication and observation skills

Main Duties
- Provide respite and companionship
- Assist and encourage the client with appropriate exercise and physical activities
- Support daily routines and activities as required
- Provide awake overnight supervision and respond to the client's needs
- Promote safety, independence, dignity, and well-being
- Follow the client's care plan
- Document and report relevant observations and concerns

Requirements
- Previous caregiving, support work, or HCA experience




- Cantonese language skills
- First Aid & CPR
- Vulnerable Sector Check / Police Information Check
- Experience supporting exercise or mobility activities
- Reliable and professional
